Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. Here's what Mobizo uses and why.
Mobizo sets one cookie, session, when you sign in. It keeps you signed in between visits and is required for the site to know who you are — without it, features like posting a listing or managing your profile wouldn't work. It's httpOnly (not readable by page scripts), lasts an hour at a time, and is refreshed automatically in the background while you're signed in. You'll be asked to sign in again if you don't visit for a while, sign out, or clear your cookies.
We use Firebase Analytics to understand aggregate usage of the site (e.g. which pages are visited). This does not identify you personally beyond what's already tied to your signed-in account.
Mobizo is supported by Google AdSense. When ad slots are active, Google and its partners may set cookies to serve and measure ads, including ones based on your interests. You can opt out of personalised advertising through Google Ads Settings.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking the essential session cookie will sign you out and prevent you from creating or managing listings, but you can still browse and search as a guest.
